Blog #1. Why I like or think that I like Advertising?

One of the reasons that I am sort of into Advertising is because it allows a person to be creative. It's like inventing new technology or a new object or what not. The way I think of it is that I'm taking the history of who I am, the experiences that I've been through and applying that to a project or concept that tries to attract other people to see things in a new way. Sure there are a lot of things that go into being a great advertiser, such as knowing who you are trying to target, being business savvy and just a thorough understanding of who the market works. Of course there are a lot more areas that an advertiser has to have knowledge of, but just knowing that what your group or team works on, to show the public is going to be original and new idea that is completely your own, is really interesting. So I guess, really the reason I think I like advertising is because I think that it is something that I could be good at and eventually excel at. In my life I have always been told that I am a people person and a people watcher. So I think that if I fine tune those skills, I could use my abilities to inspire people or even change there buying habits.
